DereK Peters - Winner 2015
The 2015 Winner of the "Beer Tankard" was Derek Peters. On what has to be one of the finest days of weather since the tournament began. Derek walked away with the spoils after only his second appearance. Depsite being "outshone" by Tim Heap in the clothing stakes, Derek's solid and consistent game proved too difficult to overhaul. Depsite some excellent golf from Graham Lewis, Mike Thomas and the fourball of Nick Phillips, Mike Hughes, Tony Page and Nik Bartlam, Derek's steady all round game prevailed. Tim Heap presented the Green Jacket to Derek in true Masters style, whilst challenging all comers to the "Best Dressed Golfer" on the day. So if you are an Ian Poulter, John Daly or Payne Stewart in the fshion stakes, we would love to see you on the day.
